This is addressed mostly to Balkanites who reject the EU concept and do not want to be a part of it.
Is it true to say that you do not want to join:
1) because you're afraid of cultural change.
Sorry to be controversial, but what is so great about your culture anyway? It has changed over time as have they all and all the EU preaches is:
Equality, free-speech, free and open markets, an end to irredentism and nationalism.
Which brings me to my second point:
2) are you also against the EU because of hate or dislike of other nations in Europe?
It seems to me the biggest opposition to the EU comes from racists, nationalists and religious-zealots.
I haven't done exhaustive research on this and am interested in what others think on this topic.
